Last night, after my weekly ward surgery at Blackness Primary School, I attended the latest committee meeting of the Friends of Riverside Nature Park.
The Friends are making great progress, with a very comprehensive agenda and discussions, including progress with their action plan for the park, updates on their new website, guided walks, publicity leaflets and park signage.
As part of the Dundee Festival of Volunteering week at the start of June, the Friends will be at the launch event on the morning of Saturday 1st June and later that afternoon, there will be guided walks at the park (including the countryside ranger service) and a litter pick.
