The City Council's Scrutiny Committee met this afternoon.
I raised questions on a number of issues, including :
* Residential parking permits and ensuring that systems are robust against fraud, misappropriation and error.
* Performance of Pay on Foot arrangements at the Greenmarket Car Park, in advance of the car park payment system being extended to the new car park in East Marketgait.
* Community initiatives to communicate Winter Maintenance arrangements for the forthcoming winter.
* Possible changes to architects' fees arrangements and the effect on council income and capital projects.
* Progress on shared services with other local authorities and public sector organisations.
