The D'Arcy Thompson Zoology Museum is opening on Saturday 13th August for an exciting Blue Skies event.

Create your own wings and take flight! For this fun, drop-in family workshop, we have all the materials you need to make wings, feathered headbands and other accessories.    Ever fancied winged shoes like Hermes?    Look no further!     You can bring your own accessories, toys or clothes, too!    Discover wings of all shapes, sizes and colours on display for your inspiration – just make sure you don’t fly too close to the sun!

No need to book – just come along at any point between 10 and 12. For more information, contact Hope Busák on h.busak@dundee.ac.uk or phone 381354.

Blue Skies, Dundee’s festival of kite-flying, stargazing and rainbow-chasing, returns to the city from Wednesday 10th to Sunday 14th August with another packed programme of activities in locations across the city.    From cloud-spotting to kite-making, this year’s programme brings together 15 partners in 11 venues around Dundee.
