Singer Sheena Wellington will perform the first Friends of Wighton Lunchtime Recital of the autumn. The Lunchtime Recital, which takes place in Dundee Central Library's Wighton Heritage Centre, starts at 1.15pm. Admission is free, although donations to the work of the Friends are welcomed.
Sheena Wellington is one of Scotland's most renowned traditional singers whose art has taken her around the world. She is currently teaching Scottish songs to children in several Dundee primary schools as part of the Youth Music Initiative.
