I have received complaints that McGonagall's Walk on Riverside Drive needs tidied, some new signs and perhaps having the words on the pathway picked out in gilt.
Having raised this matter with Dundee City Council, the Director of City Development has responded:
"It would not be advisable to infill the lettering, as this would be unlikely to last due to frost and direct wear. However, it maybe possible to clean the stone and I have asked my officers to investigate this further."
