Earlier this year, we asked for the worn entrance signs at Riverside Nature Park/civic amenity site could be refreshed.
We specifically wanted to see a way to display when the civic amenity site is unexpectantly closed following complaints from residents that a lack of such signage meant that they drove right up Wright Avenue only to find the site closed and then have to do a three point turn on the narrow road.
This has been built into the new signs - the 'before' and 'after' signs are shown below :
