Yesterday, along with a constituent, I took part in a site meeting in Briarwood Terrace, off West Park Road, with two engineers from the City Council's City Development Department.
This was in response to complaints about the very poor, deteriorating road surface in the street - see right.
The council officers confirmed that the road here has been "conditioned scored" for possible inclusion in future road reconstruction given its deteriorated state. We were also advised that sections of the pavement are scheduled for improvement later in the year.
